Great ProductJul 02, 2010 This is a great product. It's my second one in five years of almost constant use. I love the design and look especially the black. The auto brew feature is nice and it's easy to operate and clean. We kept the old one to take on vacation because my husband has to have fresh ground coffee. I first learned about this product when I saw my brother's in Florida. My niece also has one in stainless. I just hope I can still get one in the future when this one wears out!!!
Fantastic coffee maker!Feb 06, 2010 My family owns an organic coffee plantation in Colombia, and my dad's biggest complaint was that his coffee was never "fresh" (being grinded days earlier). With this new coffeemaker, which grinds coffee right before brewing, my dad always gets his organic coffee as fresh as possible. It's an excellent gift!!

I hate this coffee makerJan 22, 2010 I've had this coffee maker for 4 months now. It is novel and fun in the beginning, but it doesn't take long to become a pain in the rear end.
In addition to the grinder always being a mess, there are grounds all over inside. I suppose it's telling that they include a little cleaning brush. When the steam hits the grounds, of course the grounds turn to sludge, and that gets all over as well. And, recently, the lid doesn't seem to fit well and drips all over.
I truly regret wasting money on this product. I wish I would have bought a simple coffee maker and separate grinder.

Good for the priceDec 17, 2009 While not a coffee snob, I do love a good cup of coffee. For my birthday recently I recieved several bags of unground coffee and my little single pot grinder was not going to be up to the challenge. I invstigated a Burr grinder, but for me I could not justify the cost. This is a perfect system of grinding and brewing. I simply set everything up the night before and in the morning I get a wonderful treat. Fair warning the grinder is loud - but it is only on for less than a minute. I simply rinse off all the pieces after I finish my coffee - let it air dry - and then I am ready for the next pot!
coffee makerDec 16, 2009 Works fine, although I thought it was cheesey they didn't include the gold filter basket. add one and a dollar to the price (Mnfcts cost) and make it 5 star
