 Dual functionAug 27, 2010
I use this in my Cuisinart coffee maker and have an extra that I use to filter deep fryer grease so I can reuse it more times to make buffalo wings. Just put the filter in a funnel and it works great. It's best for coffe though, because it allows all the oils to pass through the filter providing a very flavorful cup of coffee. I've compared this to using a paper filter in the same machine and the paper filter makes Dunkin Donuts coffee taste like Folgers.

I used this filter for a while. I would buy good quality Starbucks coffee but i didn't like the flavor of my coffee. About two weeks ago i switched to a paper filter and the flavor of the coffee is much smoother and flavorful.

Usually, I purchase paper filters. However, I'm trying some new things to help protect the environment and this filter was one of them. I don't think I will ever use a paper filter again! Thanks to my excellent purchase!
