Very PleasedJul 21, 2010 I was hesitant, but decided to purchase this as it seemed to meet my needs. I have found nothing wrong and I use it 4 times a week. Timer works, easy to remove and put back on, and grounds are consistent. Throw out your doubts and give this a try. The cord is long enough too, but you may not have it all out if you find it too short. Like the way it recoils back into the base.
Does what it says. A grinder for the everyman.Jun 26, 2010 If you ever go to buy a coffee grinder, the first thing you'll find out is that there's no simple answer for the question of "What do I buy?". Some people insist on a burr grinder because they say blades "burn" the coffee as they're spinning. The next thing they'll say is that you have to spend over $50 just for a low end one. Those people are really, really into coffee. I'm not saying they're wrong, I'm saying they're connoisseurs. Keep that in mind when you read grinder reviews.
I just want a cup of joe that's a little better than average without having to spend a lot of money. I use this to grind beans for a mass marketed French press and it works out fine. There's not sludge at the bottom of my cup, so the grind must be coarse enough on its coarsest setting. I didn't notice any "burned" taste on the beans (this is a blade grinder) but maybe my palette isn't refined enough to notice, or maybe the 8o'clock Coffee I buy is too cheap to matter. I just drink coffee to wake up in the morning. Construction of the device seems ok and if it lasts a couple of years then I got my money's out of it ($22 from cheapest seller at the time).
I just got this grinder and have used it one time. It worked out of the box. If it quits working sooner than expected or develops a glitch I'll update my review.
Hands freeJun 25, 2010 This coffee grinder does exactly what it says it will do, and does it very well. Highly recommended
Great Grinder For French Press CoffeeJun 18, 2010 I bought this little grinder because I didnt want to spend a ton of money on a burr grinder for my French Press coffee. I read other reviews and most seemed pleased with it. I would agree. It grinds fresh beans course like a burr grinder, and does it quickly. Lots of power for such a small grinder. Haven't used the other settings since I don't brew coffee. I read some bad comments about the cord being too short, and I'm wondering why you would need a cord any longer than the one provided. It's just fine. Frustration Saver Alert: This grinder will not turn on unless the clear plastic cover is fully set and locked (twisted) in place. The directions don't really tell you that. Enjoy your new grinder!

Quick & EasyJun 10, 2010 It takes just seconds to takes coffee beans from whole to practically dust. I had a little difficulty figuring out how the lid fits on to allow it to run but being a man the last thing you do is read the directions. Buy grinding the coffee finer then you get from a store, you can bring out the flavor much better.
