Description:

Go ahead, indulge. These thick, tasty drinks will perk you up, ravish your sweet tooth, and whip your taste buds into a frenzy. They can even be made with decaf for those who prefer the taste without the jitter. A Frappe is really any sort of icy, blended drink. It’s usually made with coffee, but there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to the ingredients. A Frappe can be wildly imaginative, wonderfully exotic, thoroughly classic, or somewhere in between.

5Just like the coffee shops!Jul 29, 2010
This frappe maker is awesome! I use it every morning because I don't have time to wait in line and go to the coffee shop! It taste so good, and you can make it anyway you want! My husband loves it, says it tastes just like Starbucks. It comes with a recipe book!!

4Mr Coffee with a shocking twistJul 27, 2010
Actually you could do what this machine does with your coffee maker and a blender, but this does save you some messy steps and is just one machine to clean.
I've used it for a couple weeks now and can say that it doesn't just sit on the counter taking up space. I use it and
my SAECO automatic espresso machine almost daily. If you're looking to lose weight you might rethink the Frappe Maker...
Seriously, the blend function will scare the heck out of anyone when it kicks in. There is a couple of minutes of bliss before it goes from 0 to LOUD and the delay is just long enough for you to forget what was coming and wonder what equipment a serial killer is firing up in your kitchen, to take you down with....
Anyone who has experienced this machine will know what I'm talking about. Other than that I find it works as advertised and is easy to clean up afterwards.
Makes a decent enough Frappe to boot.

5Makes Me Want Stock In Mister Coffee...Yes, It's that good!Jul 23, 2010
I do not know if there is any other similar consumer machine on the market today, but Mr. Coffee has hit it out of the park on this one! The Mr. Coffee Frappe' Machine is the bomb! My wife and I love Starbucks Coffee Light Frappes' and now we can make our own right at home with the same high quality expected from the $5+ Starbuck's Frappes'.

I've wondered time and again if the under-the-counter ice maker I installed in my kitchen about 4 years ago was worth the trouble (It failed to work out of the box new) and multiple repairs which included solving the drain which ruined the drywall ceiling underneath it in our basement. I finally solved the problems with the ice maker after much misery, still I wondered if we used it enough to be in any reasonable way a viable addition to our kitchen. No more! The combination of the smaller cubes and the Mr. Coffee Frappe' Machine has made it all worth while!

Currently our own favorite is 2 tablespoons Maxwell House, 1 tablespoon Don Franciso Vanilla Nut Coffee, 3 tablespoons Hersey's Sugar-Free syrup, 2 tablespoons Sugar-Free caramel syrup, 3 Truvia packs, 2 Splenda packs, and 3.5 oz milk with 2 cups ice. The result is fantastic. I'm sure there are so many more combinations, but we're stuck on this one at the moment.

I can't say how great I find this machine to be. Amazon's service was lightning quick and with the lowest price and free shipping it is with 100% satisfaction I say: "Buy the Mr. Coffee Frappe' Machine from Amazon" and you'll be hardly ever spending $5, or more, at Starbucks again"!

5Great Product - Great Results!Jul 21, 2010
I received the Mr. Coffee Frappe Maker as a father's day present, and I haven't stopped using it since. The machine is well made, produces "Starbucks-like" results, and is easy to use and clean. I have tried most of the included recipes, various grades/prices of expresso coffees, and the pre-mix powders as shown on Amazon. I prefer the basic recipe with a rich expresso coffee (such as Supreme which is reasonably priced and available at many supermarkets), sugar free Hershey's chocolate syrup, Splenda, fat free milk or half and half, and ice. You don't need over-priced expresso brands or the pre-mix powder products to produce great results. As for the reviewers critical of an occasional droplet of errant coffee - follow the instructions and don't overfill the machine. At less than $100.00, this machine deserves a 5+ rating.

5better than my blender!Jul 21, 2010
i got this for my birthday from my hubby who is all to aware of my coffee addiction. but i'm super picky, so i was a bit hesitant to try it. i must admit, i haven't used any of the recipes provided w/it, but instead stuck to my usual ingredients for my morning frappe (see below)and have got perfect results every time! i used to blend it in my blender or the magic bullet, but this is far superior when getting through the ice. i used to have to stop and stir the contents every few seconds to settle everything and it would take far too long for just one drink. this machine, however has well timed out blending sessions along with periods of rest for the ingredients to settle. and, being it's made for iced drinks, the blades are strong enough to chop through the ice w/o having large chunks left over.

i have had NO experiences with it tipping, spilling, splattering, jumping around, etc. i've been sure to follow the directions and make sure all locking parts are locked and i don't exceed the "max fill" line in the blender or the coffee maker and that seems to eliminate the problems others have written about. the "max fill" line inside the coffee maker/top is hard to see, but once you know where it is, it's just a matter of remembering that and you don't have to worry about spillage from there.

in addition to buying this, i HIGHLY recommend getting yourself some Big Train brand blended ice coffee mix. Big Train Coffee Mix Mocha-3.5 Lbs they're 3.5 lb bags of a powdered mix that are super yummy! some cafes sell the drinks at retail for $4-5, but buy a bag of mix, use your frappe machine and you're set! just use: 2 cups ice, 7-8 tbsp of powder (depending on the flavor), and a splash of milk in the blender. then add the coffee up top and hit "frappe"!!! DELICIOUS! and easy enough to make every day!
