Love our Mocha'sSep 06, 2010 My husband and I enjoy the Coffee/Expresso machine that we purchased. Actually we had one just like it and I messed it up when I blew the grounds deep into the machine by taking off the cap before the pressure was released. We searched everywhere locally for a reasonably priced machine for our home and there were none. We could only find single machines, for regular coffee or expresso. This unit fits on our counter and depending on the day, we can have the type of coffee we want. I started my search on Amazon.com when our local attempt failed.
I just put in the name of the product, brand name and there it was. The price was what we were looking for and we are very happy with the machine we have once again.
Beware - Cheap materials and even cheaper espresso feature!Mar 14, 2010 If you plan to make espresso out of this thing, think twice! The espresso maker fills with lime/calcium and is impossible to remove! I have tried CLR and other products and it looks worse actually.
The machine is rather large and clunky. It uses the cone filters which are great, but everything else about it stink!
I am searching for a new coffee maker now. This one is garbage, stay away!
Don't waste your moneySep 13, 2009 Ours is about two years old. The carafe has ALWAYS leaked coffee all over the place when you pour from it. Very poorly designed.
This coffeemaker blocks up easily with coffee grounds, and used to spew coffee all over regularly, even though I always used a coffee filter. It doesn't spew any more since the plastic pieces under the coffee grounds basket broke off. Don't know why they were there in the first place, as it works better without them.
It takes FOREVER to brew coffee. SLOOOOOOW.
Now it leaks water all over the counter. Don't know where it's coming from, either.
The milk steamer and espresso maker are hard to use, messy, and even harder to clean. We stopped using these features pretty quickly, because I got tired of cleaning up the kitchen every time my husband wanted to make me some steamed milk or espresso. Annoying, because this is why my husband wanted to get this particular coffeemaker.
It also uses the pricey cone-shaped coffee filters instead of the cheaper basket-shaped ones. These things are about twice the price of the regular ones.
This is a piece of junk that will be replaced once I use up the present package of coffee filters. It was aggravating to use, but I kinda zoned it off until it started peeing on my counter all the time. This will be retired to the zero file very soon. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.
Edited to add that I wanted to rate it with zero stars, but it wouldn't let me. Actually, I'd give it about a -5.
Works and looks okay, feels a little chintzy; xlnt customer supportFeb 05, 2009 Product showed up with cracked espresso carafe, but one pleasant phone call and a new replacement arrived within days. Product definitely feels a little thin and plasticky, disappointing after my old Krups (dedicated) espresso machine which feels *very* tight and solid. It works, though, with yummy results from both ends, a nice (small) way to have both makers combined and looking smart in our cute little c.1927 kitchen.

Great for the cheapskateDec 22, 2008 It takes forever to brew regular coffee, and its 99% plastic. Add onto that the spring loaded thing to stop drips while pouring mid brew doesnt work. But the espresso part works great, super fast (unlike the 2+ min it said it needed in the manual). I paid $19 at Christmas Tree shop, so in all honesty, thats why it got 4 stars. If I paid Amazon price of $90 it'd get 1 star
